Modified Clear Taillights?
Modified Clear Taillights?
Is it possible to get modified tailights? Anyone seen any? I'd like clear onec if i could. Can you take apart the CL's Tails and somehow make them clear? (my friend did it with his GrandAM..i guess he scraped out the red tint in them or something.) Thanks

Altezza's suck they would look stupid on our car. The guys over at club si really hate them and I couldnt agree more. Just another problem APC caused for the automotive industry. The all red is much better. They dont exist anyway, but if they did they would look bad.
Altezzas are gay as hell.:ghey: Putting them on a CL would ruin our cars. Thank god nobody makes them for the CL.
Wow your name is close to mine! If you put altezzas on a CL, I would def. change my name so nobody would confuse me with you. uggg
can somebody roll the movie please???

Sick, i would never put altezzas on my car...all im saying is if it was possible to scrape red tint out to make them clear. (im gonna do it to the reverse lights but didnt know if i could for the whole taillight.
(i was wanting to make them look like Mustang taillights...u know where the plastic is clear but has a red or silver background with red taillight.

heating...
go to home depot and buy some of the "white" screen that covers up the flourescent light u use at home (dont know wat's it's called). throw ur tail lights in the oven (or use a heat gun) till the black glue melts. carefully pry it open. with a razor, cut a strip of the red lens. take that and measure it up to that "white screen" and cut. glue it back on to the lights. reheat so that the glue will stick again.
disclaimer...hehe. i know this works for a maxima/I-30 in a red/white tail conversion. never have i did this to my CL so be warned. just an idea.

Hey, C.J. I don't think that this would look very good either. If you want to get a preview of what it would look like, go over to the photoshop forums and give them a picture of your tail lights and ask them to show you what it would look like clear. They should be able to do this for you
