Modded ECU's

Hey guys,

Anyone get their ECU's reprogrammed or anything? I need a new one... so I'm just gonna get a reprogrammed one in exchange.

Not sure which company to go with. JET, HAS, etc?

Thanks

I had heard that chips don't work on our cars, or at least not very well.

You should get the AEM Engine Management System. Its a plug in replacement that lets you tweak every aspect of the ECU.

The AEM EMS is probably a bit too much for what he needs it for. It cost over 1,500, and it isn't going to do much for your car unless it is already heavily modded, and I mean 350 HP+!!!! It's also not extactly easy to use. You'll have to know engines in and out to really take advantage of the EMS.

I think imma just get a stock ecu. Thanks for your help. My idea originally was to get a reprogrammed ecu and send mine to them for exchange. Either that or send mine into them and have them reprogram it.

The goal was to get my ecu fixed... and possibly add some goodies to the program.
