metric gauge faces
I always thought it would be cool to throw on some metric gauges on a car. does anyone know if they sell em anywhere? im talking about mainly a speedo that just shows kmh. maybe i should just find some JDM accord gauges...?

My guages have KM/Hr in the large numbers and Miles/Hr in small numbers below. This is because we use KMs in Canada so all the cars come like that. It doesn't make much sense to me why you would want your guages showing KMs if the speed limit where you live is in Miles/Hr. Are you looking for guages that display both like mine, or just KM/Hr so you really have no idea how fast you are going?

i'm from canada too [Toronto]... i think eurolite may sell them...but it'll be under honda accord 94-97....but its basically the same...i'm sure it'll fit...but i dont know why you want it in km/h...i guess you just want to be different???

yeah i basically just want it to be different. i can get used to the conversion factor, thats not a big deal to me. i could also fool people into thinking im going way faster than i am!

wouldnt it cost more money to actually make it work...
cause if we're going 70 here... its like 120 over there... so.. it really wouldnt work would it?

even if u change just the gauge face.. wouldnt u need to adjust the mechanics a bit?

if you look at our gauge faces, the speed is primarily in mph, with corresponding km/h values in smaller font. when the needle is at 60 mph, it is also at about 100km/h. its basically just a conversion: mph / 0.625 = km/h. its not that JDM gauges are calibrated differently, they just have a different scale.

or you could just say that the MPH and KMH are switched.

i wasnt really hard core about doing it, just thought it would be cool. i agree it might be a pain in the ass to 1. find one and 2. install it, for what its worth. maybe one day...

ya i'm canadian too and i wanted to find gauges in km/h but couldn't...so i settled with reverse glows and one day my mom took it out on a sunday to go to church and got pulled over...
