i was have problems with my idle running between 1000-1500 in park. When I go to disconnect the map sensor. It seems to run normal.

Any my ideas of what could be wrong. Should I buy a new MAP sensor?

 

My 97 3.0 is doing this exact same thing I just replaced the IACV with a new one I bought on eBay and it's still doing the same thing? I've been reading its related to the IACV so I'm not sure if I got a bad part or if I need to replace the MAP sensor. I cleaned the throttle body well when I removed it.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Probably the IACV is defective or you have an air leak.

 

Thanks for the info. I will replace the part with a non China Ebay one and see if that fixes it.
