Manual transmission for the 3.0?
I have been doing a lot og searching and i can't find anything on a manual transmission for a 99 CL 3.0. I heard someone talking about how they had one of the only 3.0 with a manual transmission. If anyone has any information on a transmission i can get from a different car, or if a company makes a manual tranny for the 3.0 id really like to know about it. Thanks.sd

They don't exist
There are manual 3.0 accords but they don't line up in our firewall and mounts

Sooooo, i've been looking at the j32a2 and 6speed swap for a while. and finally decided to give it a try. theres a 6speed tranny with 24k miles floating around on craigslist for $1k. and i'm still looking for a decent engine.
I've already talked to my mechanic about this, and he said he'll research it and give me a price quote. But i was wondering, would there be a difference if I get the engine from an AUTO cls rather than a manual? And i read on V 6 Performance that i would need this harness created and sold by one of the guys on the forum. The harness sells for $500 i believe. Site doesn't seem to work right now so i can't check.
Is there a different route i can take? like getting the other necessities from the parts CLS car.And i'm hoping labor to be around $1-1.5k, is that reasonable?
sorry if this had been discussed before, could only find this thread in the search. thanks.

where is....
yeah right @ labor for a j32 6-speed swap. theres no way it'll only cost 1-2k for labor.
before it was worth it to swap into a cls-6. but now its cheaper to just buy a cls-6 since they can be found for less than 10k.

the j32 tranny will not bolt up to your j30 block. I beleive the autos and manuals have different engine codes so you might run into some issues.
just buy a cls6, save yourself the trouble.

actually, the j32 tranny have been bolted up to the j30 engine before. vids of a j30 using j32 manual tranny with the help of the custom ordered harness were posted on V 6 P. It was also stated that other 6-speed tranny's will work for the swap, ie 03-07 accord and 04-07 TL; but the accord tranny doesn't have LSD. If $1-1.5k for labor is not realistic, then what is the realistic quote?
i'm hoping theres someone on here that has gone through this before, or maybe i'll have to wait for my mechanic to surprise me.
As for the CEL, vtec not engaging, and low redline rpm, the harness supposedly fixed those problems.
1G style > 2G style anyday.

theres a reason theres only 1 person that ever did the cls-6 swap. if labor was really that cheap, i'd be as common as the h22 swap.

I think if its possible in a V6 accord, why isn't it more feasible these days to put it in a CL? I mean they're putting them in civics now for pete's sake lol, there's gotta be an easier way.
(Maybe if 1 of u get a swap too you'll be more willing to run me. No CL's out here will line it up w/me)
