Angry man i hate hail... (lots of pics)

so my sister had to get new tires for her truck today and we need to take two cars to the shop so i could give my mom a ride home form the shop.
well it was going pretty good till it started raining, then pouring, then small pieces of hail i got my car somewhat under a tree to try and stop the hail, but that is when it picked up. golfball sized hail started falling ad this is what happened...

3 out of 4 of my familys cars got messed up

sorry the pics are kinda bad, but my car looks like shit now

size of the hail...

but i should be thankfull, we saw soooooooooooooooooo many cars with busted windows i lost count after the first 15
here are pics of some cars that were not so lucky

car i was parked next too... if i didnt move my car my back window would have probably looked like this

and an rsx

I should get some pics of my rental, it got wailed on, there was a tl that I saw on the way home without a back window, several other vehicles (including a REALLY nice bmw) with cracked and/or shattered windows as well. I was in the office when it started and it sounded terrifying, weirdest part was all the tree guts all over the place once it finished....yikes.

Ok you CAN fix some of these. First do you have insurance you can claim it on? Second take a heat gun and a can of airduster. Heat up the metal where the dent is until it is good and hot. Dont get to close or you will blister the paint. Once it is hot, hit it immed. with a shot of airduster. The quick blast of cold compressed air will cause the molecules in the metal to shrink and pull tight, thus popping out the dent. It will work for some, but not all. Goodluck man.

wow, that looks horrible carson.
We had a hailstorm a while back and my car was no where near what yours looks like. And to be inside the car when that was happening woulda scared the shit out of me.
Glad to hear none of your windows got busted or you got hurt at all.

and your insurance is gonna fix all that? have you had an estimate done for the repairs.... because it looks like it's gonna cost a shitload of money..
good luck

Man... What was left of that storm came through here... And I was out on the freeway but luckily it was just wind and rain. Looking at the pics and depending on your insurance company, I'd guess they'll probably estimate the damage at around 2500-3000, minus your deductible.

We didn't even get rain.

God Carson, I am so sorry to hear about that. Looks worse than I thought when you texted me. Just think about fresh Inza Red Pearl.

dude just use, hair dryer and air duster. apply hair dryer to the dented areas and then use the air duster (upside down) on the dents...stand back and watch them pop out...but it can damage ur paint...

No way man, your car is still hot. Can't do anything about the weather. I'm sure there will be other cars with hail dammage too. Either way, shit happens. You'll probably get it fixed before I get a freaking drop!
