Lowering springs

What can you guys tell me about how you feel with your cars lowered. Has anyone gone with 2.25" - does it make the ride very uncomfortable, or is it still good, with better handling? I'd rather not give comfort for handling I WANT BOTH! hehe.. and are some brands better than others? I'm looking at the 2.25" drop from www.speedpeople.com.

if you get after market shocks to support that low of drop you may be fine, but most shocks do not warranty anything lower than a 1.8 drop.
