Lowered.....

Got the car lowered today. The gap in front is bigger than the back, but I knew that was going to happen. My question...I've read that if you put in new struts, it will lower the car more. Do I have to buy adjustable struts to do this, or will regular struts do it as well? I want to put new ones on just the front to make the drop a little more even. Any Help?

P.S.
I will take pics tomorrow when I get my rims back on. (I think the D.O.T. might pay for my new wheel.)

once the springs settle they will be a little lower than before but if u want to lower it with ur struts then u need to get adjustable ones like koni yellows or KYB AGX

KYB AGX's are on ride adjustable - not height adjustable... If you want to adjust the height you will need some Koni yellows. Even then to change the height you have to disasemble the assembly each time you want to change height perches...

Yea, I've been searching and heard others talking about the "Lower Perch" What does that mean? using the lower perch? Could the KYB GYX could be put on the lower perch?

Also....
I thought the ride height was the job of the springs,
I thought the ride height had nothing to do with the struts.

KYB's don't have the adjustable perch like the Koni's do.

the front doesnt look dropped as much because the fender is lower in the rear. Give it a few weeks or more to let them settle.

The perch is where the spring sits on the strut. On the koni yellows there are 2 different perch settings, one is about 15mm lower than normal. No other strut has this.
