Low temp theromastat, fan switch

I saw a post on here with a mod for the 3.0 and the 3.2 using mugen parts

I would like to get a theromstat, fan switch, radiatior flush, Is there anything else that might help?

Where can us with the 2.2 get these parts or will the same ones fit?

I live in FL and think it would be helpful to have the car not get as hot.

Thanks

I posted the same topic a couple of weeks ago and didn't get any replies. It's pretty freakin hot here in Sacramento in the summer so I was thinking about it. You can get the parts through www.kingmotorsports.com for around $150. Look under the Accord link.
I don't know if it's a good investment or not. Anybody?

According to the original thread, engines lose HP when they get real hot. The fan switch & thermostat engage at lower temps, keeping the engine cooler. This mod doesn't add HP, it prevents HP loss.

I have had 3 turbo cars. Its always good to have the car run as cold as possible, cause they do run better when its cold.

It probably wouldn't hurt. I've heard it's a good idea to have an oil cooler on a turbo'd motor.

I dont know much about acuras although i have a 3.0cl. but as far as most cars i do know about that are fuel injected, all the electronics rely on temperature. true the car does run better when its first started up but thats cause of the cold air being drawn into the intake. not cause of the block temp. block temp tells things like the iac and tps, even the mass airflow sensor. if the temp isnt just right youll burn lots of gas almost like the car isnt quite warmed up yet. which is why you have a cold idle. plus your oil will not get the proper vescosity and will eventually gum up. you could always use a lighter weight oil though. i would personally leave the block temp alone.(thermostat, and fan)
sorry so long this is my first post.
