Low fuel shift points?

I was just curious, hopefully this isn't a question. Does the ECU change the shift points when you have low fuel? I noticed my car is very hesitant to hit redline when I have low fuel, it also seems to shit MUCH smoother when I have low fuel.

Dunno... I just filled up today and I'll see if I notice much of a difference.

By the way, goddamn 18.5MPG 80% city, 20% highway mileage. I need some sort of miracle gas-mileage-fixer-thingamabob. Luckily gas is cheap right now.

haha... I meant it seems to shift much smoother, although it definitely goes along with the crappy tranny reputation.

prolly doesnt wanna get to the redline cuz the fuel is not leaving the tank as quickly as it normally would.
