word ive never raced a 3.0 before ( only accord v6s but there slow ) i wonder how quick they pick up ?

i beat the brakes off my homies is300. had bout 3 cars on him till 115, then my 3rd gear ran out and i had to shift to 4th he came pullin up like a fuckin train (inline 6 cyl has gobbs of torque). till we hit 130 and i still had him by bout 1/2 car and his tapps out, and i kept pullin to 140+ that was fun. and i still got the win.

 

Precious held to 140mph... Hell yeah bro... that is the shit. ayougo, if you wanna race a 3.0, shag your ass on up here to OKC and we'll go at it on the east bound only part of Memorial Road. That little strip of road is exactly one mile in two lanes one way. Usually it is without traffic. I hammer it there all the time. I love that stretch of road.

 

hell yeah! he was fu*^in amazed!!!!!, but now he has a manual one with a stage 2.5 turbo kit, and i couldnt keep up if i tried!

 

I spanked my boys IS300 from a roll (30 mph). There was about a 5 car distance between him and I, until I shut it down at 100.

That is the only one I know about where the cops dont bother you for awhile. They say there is a spot in Bayonne, but haven't been there yet.

LOL its Nittany Lion Man not boy! yeah im saving up for a turbo actually, theres a kit available for it that has proven to make 300 hp on stock internals @ 8 psi, not bad if u ask me . what u got planned for the CL? still tryin to get that engine swap idea past the wife?

 

yeah I'm gonna have to be real sneaky with that I was gonna call a couple of junkyards today but havent had time. I'm either gonna do a swap next year or trade it in for a TL-S..

the P got shut down, no one goes there anymore. the cops kept shutting it down. now its at the remus or something. me and my boys went last night but no one was there and we couldnt figure out where the new spot is.

 

They always shut it down for a week, then we all go back next week or the week after. The P ain't going no where, what they do is when the shut down the P is go to Doremus Avenue which is practically around the corner by the turnpike exit 15E, but I don't go there because there is way too easy for something bad to happen.

Look the man got 150k+ mi on his tranny that's longer than most trannys are supposed to last (120k) so, I wouldn't say he had the auto tranny problem.

 

i hope this new one goes another 150+.

He bought it with like 140K on the tranny, and from there began to destroy it

 

i think the tranny was hurt when i got it, got 30 day warranty,the 31st day it started slippin.i got about 15k(one year) on a messed up tranny with me behind the wheel.she pulled her weight,i blew my saturn tranny twice in less than a year......

 

Saturn tranny's are bigger pieces of than the 3.0 trannies
