why 215?? i think for 18's u have to get 225/40/18...thats what i got.

here....

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

theose are what i have. Yes their Continentals which i used to say were "Grandpaw Tires" But look at the ones i got! Ultra High Performance All Season...look at the ratings on them! EVERYTHING is either rated superior (the highest rating) or excelent (the 2nd highest) and for only $116 each!

I printed out the sheet from tirerack and went to my local NTB or Goodyear and what not and asked them if the'd match the $116 + extra for that shipping and handling i would of had to pay. I ended up buyin mine for about $130 a peice.....good luck!!

(BTW: these tires look soo good in person!)

treadwear is the thickness of the tread, the more treadwear the longer your tires will last (being that your camber is correct)

I found the local tire guys, Town Fare Tire, having the best prices. I went with Nitto 555 ZR Extreme's and LOVE them. The only reason why local guys are better is because companies RAPE you when you go to have the tires mounted, like $25.00 a tire! It ended up being cheaper for me to buy locally with free mounting and balancing. Just my knowledge with good quality low priced tires. As for ratings, temp i could care less about and treadwear does make a difference. My buddy burns a set of Bridgestone S-03's once a year on his E46 M3.
