Looking for exhaust systems for your CL...

I finally figured out which specific exhaust from the Accord fits directly to our 1st Gen. CL's.

I called up the Acura dealership and I asked for the part # for the catback which they call it a "B-Pipe". And also asked for the part # for the muffler. After this, I called the Honda dealership and had them give me a cross-referance of what particular Accord these part numbers match up too. It's the 97 Accord EX 2/4dr. I asked him if this was just for the 2dr or 4dr and the guy said either one. But, if I end up ordering an aftermarket exhaust system for my CL, I'm gonna make sure it's the 2dr application just to make sure.

If you're curious of the part #'s, they are:
B-Pipe (catback) - 18220-SV1-C70
Muffler - 18030-SV1-C70

it's a shame that doesn't help out any of us 3.0ers. Oh well. I'm pretty sure the people here already knew that.

Just call your Acura dealer and ask for the part number of your stock exhaust system. Then call the Honda dealership and tell them the part # that the Acura dealer gave you and have them tell you what kind of Honda it goes on. I'm sure it's on some kind of Accord, but since it's a 3.0... Hell, it could be related to a Prelude.

2.2/2.3 exhaust fits the 3.0 also.

I know because I took the Greddy SP off my 2.2 and put it on a 98 3.0.

The exhausts are interchangeale between CL's as long as you order one from a 97 accord, if you order the one for a 98 accord it will not line up.

The 3.0 and 2.x axel backs are a perfect fit. The B pipe like he said, or what i like to call the mid pipe are off by a couple inches.

I posted a thread about exhaust systems a couple of days ago and nobody told me the specifics about the 97 EX Accord being axactly the same as the CL. People just told me to look around. So, I figured that nobody knew.
