I'm posting this thread because I'm not sure if folks here in First Gen visit "Car Talk" or know of the group buy on the aluminum door sills (I know some have already responded). Dustbuster, I was just looking through the thread, and I do have a couple of questions, My question is is how exactly will they look, by that, I mean will they be chrome, plastic, black???? Maybe I just could not find the answers to these questions or maybe nobody knows yet!?!?! I don't know?!?!

From what I can determine, they'll look similar to the one in this picture (on page 1 of the original thread): Page1. Feel free to scan through the 24 pages of the original thread to see the development of the project.

Begining with page 17 (and beyond), you can see samples of the aluminum to be used: Page 17.
