Boost is increased at stop and low speed, and decreased as speed reaches preset level. If this is a new car, you may need to adjust to the steering effort.

On 4-cyl. Accords the PS boost provides for 6.6 lbs (max) effort to move the steering wheel w/ vehicle idling and stopped. This is effort at the outside rim of steering wheel. If your effort is less than this, there is no specified diagnostic or remedy that I could see in shop manual for 94-97 2.2 Accords.

good luck

Low steering effort at speed can be a symptom of poor alignment, usually caster problem.

However low turning effort at stop can't be adjusted as far as I can tell.

good luck

what about high speed turning effort,i got too much play at high speeds that if i hit a bump the car will not continue straight rather feel like slipping to one side ...especially when your all out(like in a race or flooring it in general) then its hard to keep control of the vehicle

get an allingnment. that should help. as far as loose steering i have it too. doesn't bother me. just make sure you get that allignment. before i had my wheels alligned my steering wheel would drive itself left and right all it wanted. after the allignment things got better.
