if put together correctly an LED will outlast a normal bulb by a long shot.

but yeah, they do look pretty sick!

If only it wasn't in five rows. If it was just a big circle of LEDs, or shaped to fit our tail lights, that would be a good idea.

That's true aj, but wouldn't they come with different lenses as well to help with that problem?

The LED will not burn out, probably for the life of the car, but they look a bit over the top... too much BLING BLING.

did you put a resistor between the LED and the power?? I dont think you can connect them right to the power wire from the parking light.

I emailed the guy a day ago, they are located 25 mins from my house and i am going to pick up a pair in march when they go on sale.

this what he said...

Chris

At this time, the only colour is red.

The lights are schedule for release in March 2005.
Pricing will be out at the same time.
Distribution may not be in Toronto at that time.
But you will be able to buy direct in March 2005.

A medium size will work in the CL

The resistor may be required depending on the OEM design.

On cars we tested, some required the resistor and some did not.

thanks

I will post pics when i get them in a few weeks or so

It would be really hot if they opened up every time you hit the brake pedal.

those spider lights look great and everything, but going back to the site that hybridnrg posted, those are $100! you can find similar spider lights at autolumination.com for cheaper. i usually buy all my LED's from them and they all work fine, have no problem with them. here's a link to the 1157 for our break lights: http://autolumination.com/1156_1157.htm

sorry guys i don't have them, i was just doing some research and since autolumination is my usual place, that's where i looked first and saw them and wanted to share what i found. perhaps in a month or two i'll give them a try. i wish i saw them about 2 months ago because my break lights did get burnt out and had to replace them..i would've replaced them with the spiders if i knew of them at the time.

They've had them for a year or so, I looked for them on AL and SBL a long time ago, but like I said, hasn't been high on my list
