I did a post about it a while ago, so you should do a search on them “chrome rings.” I got it from ebay, it comes with a metal bezel and rings. I only used the rings though….didnt want too much metal in there.
that would be cool if you could hit me with a link, i'll try searchin some ebay, how much were they

That's because there's no contrast. If you are going to stick with the red, you will have to put a dim white light where the UV lightbar was.

If the overhead light is too bright it will overpower the red (as it was doing before). You just need enough contrasting light to show reflect off of the needles' front surfaces so that you can see the needles.

I think people need that. All my photos from when I opened my dash were accidentally deleted.

If you remember to take pics before removing each major section, it'll be a GREAT visual help to others who feel too nervous to remove their gauge cluster.

Will do. I just borrowed my g/f's 4 megapixel camera, so I'm good to go. Just waiting on that lazy bastard of a mail man to come

UPDATE:

I just got my 6LED 3022 festoon bulb from autolumination.com and it is WAY WAY brighter than the 4led 3022 that I had in my trunk before. This baby has six 5mm LEDs in it instead of the four 3mm leds in the standard 3022.

I'm very very happy with it.
