don't technically NEED them if you can deal with the "hyper" blinker. My cl was like this and now my TL, I actually got used to and like my blinker's on crack.......

i know what you mean! when i first switched out the OEM lenses to the clears that's when the sleeve broke..and i've changed the bulbs a couple times..once they were too blue so i had white LED's in the corners..then i was advised by a cop that i should change those back to an amber so i had to change them again..just like chris said..too many times trying to mess with that thing, never again..leaving it the way it is.
