Got about 99,989 mile on her and figure it time for a plug change. (third actually)

No Gap Eh???? I'm just a little weary............(not that I doubt ya).

My old VW's performance was CRITICAL that the gap was EXACTLY right. Too wide it sucked, Too small..............It sucked as well.

My RX7 (rotary) doesnt have ANY gap. They are more like glow plugs. Two Top (Adv) and Two Bott (Negs.) . .. . . .And at $13.00 a piece. Different animal all together, being a rotery and all.

Any other "alternative " stock type plugs for the CL? (maybe IF I cant find the NGK's?). Ya never know. Thanks!

Thanks

K

you could go with the stock type NGK, iridiums is an upgrade from the stock ones. i think denso also makes some good stock level ones. bosch has some supposedly nice ones but ive heard somewhere that the wire doesnt hold well on bosch plugs? im testing this right now, i got the bosch plat +4 in there to see how it goes...

Im gonna get mine at Advanced Autoparts. $6.96 ea +tx x 6 = $44.00.

Don't believe autozone carried them.

Wonder if it's worth getting the plugwires while I'm at it?

OK I just bought the Iriduims and installed them. I hope I didn't overtighten them, I don't think I did though when I got some resistance I went a little bit further and then stopped because it wasn't hard to remove them so I didn't think I'd have to tighten them very hard. Also I used that dieletctic grease should I have put that on the contact part of the plug where the wire transfers the signal to the plug?

I would go with the Double Platinum. Plugs dont really matter. As far as gapping they come pregapped. They are usually a lil smaller in gap when new and after about a days of driving they will open up to their appropriate size. If you listen to me. Iridium is overrated.

As far as wires MSD FTW
