Just a quick question; I did a bit of searching and didn't find anything like this...

I just replaced the battery on my remote about 2 months ago and it worked fine but after a while the remote stopped working. When I open the back, take the battery out, and put it back in then the remote works fine again for a couple weeks.

Should I try to buy a new remote or could it be the wrong battery for the remote?

 

Not the wrong remote if it works, it's just the contacts on the remote are wearing out
