Does anyone else have to be right next to their car to use the remote? I changed the battery but still have a 15ft max distance. Does any one know how to make the single stronger so it works past 15 ft. Thanks
i have to be pretty close to... i just got a new remote cuz when i bought mine it didnt have one... 60 from the dealer he hooked it up and everything... you still have to be rather close...

Thanks it just piss's me off and i wanted to see what i could do ill try the chin thing and looklike an ass. yeah my mom has a 04 4-runner and it works from what seems a 1/4 mile and from in stores. i wish
Hmm... mine has about a one mile range on it!! I wonder why!?!? Oh yeah that's right I got he Viper 5900 car alarm with remote start!!! I can be in BFE and start my car and by the time I get to her she'll be all warmed up and the inside will be cool like the other side ofthe pillow!!! Viper 5900 FTMFW!!!!!!!!

u get more range cause ur holding it up higher than normal from hip level to chin level can make a little diff. so basically raising ur arm in the air and doing it should work even better. also it helps if you dont have alot of other junk in ur car that can interfere with the signal.
That works, but mine has always worked from pretty far, no way as far as my 4runner, but pretty damn far.
