keyless entry clicker broken; HELP!

ok, its been broken for a while now, but im getting really tired of the key! what origionally happened was one night, the light started to flicker on the clicker... so i thought the battery was goin dead... and it wouldnt unlock and lock... so i go get a new battery the next day and it works fine for about half the day..... then i go to unlock the doors and it wouldnt work... and i noticed the light just stayed on... any ideas? has this happened to any of you? what would you suggest?!

I had this happen, when the light stays on, you can't fix it. You have to buy a new one.

Sounds like there's a short inside it. Try popping it open and wiping down with a q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol.

The FCC # is on the back of your remote, it's on a sticker. I would help you but I don't have my keys on me right now. I think you can also call the dealership and them too.

Yep, that would be me your talking about. The 01+ Key FOB owns. Looks MUCH nicer than the shitty ones that come with our car. PLUS, civilians think that you have a newer/nicer car when they see your keys.
If anyone is intersted in swapping remote casings, PM me, i can do the work.
