If I bought coilovers, they would be seasonally installed/removed. Then again i'm kind of working on getting a beater car so I can store the CL over teh winterz.

Winter beaters ftw, no need to remove coils like wheels, just need to raise your height

^ i think it's a good idea for most ppl to remove them, all the people i know that have coilovers take them off for the winter and put their stock suspension back in

Makes it easier for driving in the winter and preserves them I guess, seems silly to me though. Course I don't drive my CL in the winter

I really should have raised my car for the winter, but it's too damn cold to do it now. There was like two inches of ice/packed snow in my drive way and I could feel it scrape underneath.

I just got done shoveling my steep ass driveway, there was an inch of solid ice with 3 inches of snow on top of it

By the time I was finishing up, there was a half inch dusting back on the driveway

The 2.x/3.0 share the 94-97 Accord suspension. I'm a 3.0. I have D2's, the brother of the K-Sports, and they're awesome.

I thought 3.0 and 2.X suspensions were different from the n00b thread ..isnt there at least a weight difference that needs to be considered?

"3.0 – Springs from a 95-97 V6 Accord. Eibach, Neuspeed, and Suspension Techniques are the only brands that make springs specifically for the 3.0 CL
Eibach Pro Kit (CL) - 1.4f/1.4r
Neuspeed Sport (CL) – 1.75f/1.5r
Suspension Techniques Sport (CL) – 1.5f/1.5r
Suspension Techniques SpeedTech (CL) – 2.3f/2.0r
Intrax Sport (Accord V6) - 1.8f/1.7r"

Yes, but for coils it shouldn't matter. If you use 2.x springs on a 3.0, the drop will be greater. Since coils are height adjustable, it doesn't matter.

Let me put it this way, I've had absolutely 0 issues with my D2's meant for 90-97 Accords.
