take it, if it's as new as they say, that aint a bad deal. make sure you find a good shop to fabricate mounts + wiring and stuff.

I dunno i havent asked, im kind of undecided on putting a turbo on the f or swap in a k i dunno there are so many options and my mind keeps changing. I changed my HP goal from 225 to 300hp. Main concern is reliablility! but i really want to go fast

you referring to the head?

a2 is RSX-S
a3 is Civic SIR Hatch
z3 is Civic SI

i'd go with an a2 because it doesn't have the Drive By Wire Throttle like the z3 does.

the a3 has the the single lobe vtec, you don't want that.

3 gs for that setup is a steal. If it is true though.

I would jump on that any day.

its possible. but you need to have the head milled( minor shaving)

Theres a few other make shift mods you have to do.

its more money than its worth.you can just get an h22 cheaper now
unless your going to boost. its a great project for boost.

Hell yeah it is. Dudes on H-T got 300+ hp on only 8 psi w/that motor. Thats beastly.

yeah it really makes me want to do it. and its a lot more unique than a k24/20.

but not in a cl. a k would be just as cool.

stay away from the k24z3, i have that right now. i hate the head design because its incapable with other k-blocks for a headswap.
and you can definitely find 7th gen accord k24 blocks for 2k w/transmission and ecu now.

I heard the K24 sits more infront of the engine bay. So you'll make your CL more front heavy

meh, that article sounds iffy. sure you can make it all work, but it's complicated. just swap the K or the H.

yeah its complicated.but i bet if you got ahold of the guy that did it, or one of the guys that has successfully, it wouldnt be that hard to figure out the tricks and trades of this swap

^ oh and i really like how they mentioned the f.
and how k pistons can be used in the F block. i guess you could call it iffy, but that would make for ONE BADASS N/A CL

k20's arent that bad...if you pick up the whole car wrecked. ive found totaled rsx's for 1100-1200. id get the 20, with the 6 spd. then get a 24 block before the swap

the amount of people attempting a g23 on PP.com is significant and the amount of sucessful swaps is minimal. It's a hard swap. Ask Dainfammus or Silver97CL.

yes the potential is amazing, but you'd have to set your car aside for months while you build this engine piece by piece. H is a direct swap, a K not so much but still a functional engine from the get go.

anyways, this thread is about Ks. Let see where he goes with this.
