I just bought filter # RU-2820 and it is a straight cylinder style air filter with a 3" inlet. It will work fine but it is not the type with the chrome top on it. I got the 6 inch long filter because it says you should get the filter with the most surface raea possible. I'm going to keep it as I have a short ram system and there is plenty of room in the engine compartment for it to rest. It does not have the tapered sides like most filters do however but i think the flow will be good. If you want a K&N filter to replace the short ram with this looks like it will do fine. Anyone else have thoughts? I know the tapered and chrome topped ones look sharp but I couldn't ever find the part number to be sure.
