K&N filter to replace Weapon R foam filter?
Any ideas where i can get a K&N filter to replace the cheap foam filter from a Weapon R. The filter fits on a 3 inch tube. Any help would be great.

Hey Risky, I have the same set-up. I know notice the hmmm that you are talking about. That's the engine sucking in air at idle and is normal. It's louder because you only have a pipe leading into the intake, rather than the stock filter and tubing. If you have a hissing sound when you are driving normal and not stepping on it, I would think it could be because there is some air leaving the intake area. Have you check the connections to make sure that everything is tight and secure?

actually you are all right and wrong...
when it comes to performance and air cleaning, you always hear about the big brands used on race cars i.e. K&N, Comptech, AEM... the difference between those and many no name brands is the pore sizes... These high end brands have a reputation to make a high performance filter to to small pores so less dirt and more clean air enter.. thats the difference... but yes otherwise all the same shit!!
