Just picked up my lip

I just picked up my lip and already have a question. How sturdy is that tape on there? Am I gonna have put screws in it so it won't fall off? I remember when I had a WW kit for my 97 Accord and they sent screws with it.

I didn't put screws in mine. The tape worked fine but the lip started to sag a little over a few months.

A screw on the underside, front and center, and a couple in each wheel well, and that thing wont move. The tape does a pretty good job by itself, but it could certainly sag after some time without the screws.

That's what I thought. I figured after time with the weather that tape has to give way.

If you wash your car alot, ie., bad weather and dirt exposure, or leave it out in the sun, you better screw it down. Peace, Love and Acura

Yes, you should screw it in for sure. I had a lip that was screwed in and we had a bad snow storm. I drove my sister home and noticed my lip was gone. I was sooo pissed.

My connect says he has 1 more in stock but the shipping to Miami is a biatch he says. I already had someone from here call him. He said it's all the packaging that makes it so expensive. I got it for $240 w/o the shipping. I asked him it's urethane so it ain't gonna break that easy but he said he had cases where UPS f'd up a urethane bumper.

I don't care much if it's fucked up, I can fix that...but the main thing is I'm probably gonna have to cut it up anyhow. So let me know. I'm extremely interested and can pay immediately. Using a little creativity to produce something different. Who knows, I can probably even make a carbon fiber Type R lip but I need one as a model.

Thanks,
James
