he means from the cat into the exhaust piping, he may just be trying to sell you an exhaust, just get a resonator and a muffler and get a custom catback if u are thinking about a new exhaust

Have you gotten a CEL yet?

Our stock muffler is so big, it's hard to imagine it ever becoming completely clogged

If anything there are pieces of the cat in the piping. My cat is breaking up right now and I've reached in and pulled pieces of the cat out of my tail pipe.

Which cat is it?
Im planning on putting in a Hi-flow cat too but im affraid its gonna throw some codes.
Anyone have options?

With that Hi-Flow I would put in a Magnaflow 22" Resonator and Magnaflow Exhaust with tips and custom piping.

Sorry champstar if this is not answering any of your questions but I didn't want to start a new thread for this.
