Well, there is another SC soon to be on the market.JRSC
JRSC

Seems like there will be less to deal with as far as installation on a 1st gen cL.

Yup, I emailed them and they said it's coming out around May of next year. That guy that replied to my email was a jerk. I just asked if it would fit on a 99 3.0 (which we know it does, since someone just put the comptech into your CL) He replied back

"NOW . . . LET ME MAKE A POINT O-SO-CLEAR HERE .........
There has NEVER been an instance where a pre-existing charger
kit simply bolted on to a completely different application. "

Guess he's gonna be wrong there.

Their SC looks real nice, not blocking the spark plug removal and using stock battery is also nice. Their SC does sit lower than the Comptech, that may or may not be a fitment problem in our 3.0CLs.

I doubt they will "officially" support the CL(1st or 2nd gen) unless the kit can simply bolt on without further testing on their part since they rather pour all development time into a larger market like the Accord's. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of CL's out there, but there are even more Accords. That was the general tone of the company when I asked them several years ago.

Looks nearly identical to the Comptech one. How does it compare with price & hp?
