I have decided sense I am going to try and get an industry recognized car I need to have as much Japanese parts on it that I can. I am lookin for a Japanese made intake, got any suggestions

Well you could put on japanese wheels, bodykit, and swap a jdm h22 and put all the jun parts you can. There are a good amout of japanese muffelers you can weld on.

 

I know before anyone goes there Acura is made in America, but it is still a Honda engine thats what I am talking about. I want to try and keep it as Japan as possible

Just leave it alone man. you cant make a car JDM if the car was never even offered in Japan.

 

however, you can still modify your CL, with jdm flavor.

the closest things you can get to jdm parts are for preludes/accords i have some jdm parts on my car and yes i do look for more jdm parts then immatation but if o wels whatever floats your boat man....my sig has some of my mods some of them are jdm like the mugen muffler and jun cams......

Jdm is played out here. If you lived in hawaii you would know where h22turbocl was comming from. There are many "jdm" ricers out here.

BTW-you can get some JDM parts if you want dude but they usully aren't worth the money. Like mugen rims, just get rota's Lke 1/5 the price. Do you have a 3.0? buy that JDM J30 that was on ebay

Pretty much like that. All the ricers out here are into the "jdm" movement. Even with american cars such as focus'. Lots of option stickers, those little jdm mirrors, stuff like that.

Collecting JDM parts, makes an enthusiasts car special, in a way. The meaning of their car is much more, because they got it from Japan. Why do peeps choose Japanese products? Because they make quality products. It just depends on the persons taste, and what they want with their car.

 

The only way i ll accept a car as JDM is if that bitch is left hand drive. you can put all the shit on it you want, but in the end, you're just a JDM poser.

True, but anyone can convert RHD, onto a US based import. The only way you can be a true JDM player, is if you have a car straight from Japan.

And Duece, this is why I had said "JDM is played out." Its fine that people want to replace USDM parts with JDM parts, but to claim JDM- while you have JDM parts, however your car is USDM based- is a whole different story. Thus, it is played out. I'm game for JDM styling, though I do not claim JDM.
