integrity of a Yaris....pics, 56K...

This is the story of a guy at UCI who got into an accident on Halloween...by the look of it, i think the Yaris is a little bit iffy...

If it got damaged that badly just by hitting a Honda then how safe is it? granted it rolled over, but again, it rolled over because hitting a Honda????
so i was just driving along going home and some guy decides to do an aggresive lane change without signaling or looking and hit my passenger side and made my brand new car flip to its side. i had to crawl out of the passenger door.you be the judge.

It doesnt look like anything but cosmetic damage, which is to be expected if it got hit hard enough to flip it and then slide down the road.

Looks like it would be a fun car to strip down and make a track car.

It's just like when the neons came out, there was a report that if you t-boned the neon going 35 MPH there was a 90% chance that it would roll

Seems a bit weird that doing a LANE change into his front right tire caused that car to flip...

Seems like the wheels should just slide out from under you in that case. But who knows, maybe something else happened that we don't really know about. Like... he swerved hard and caught an edge.

Anywho, sounds like the guy is still doing fine after his CAR FLIPPED. So I'd say it's a pretty safe car.
