Intake Question
I know, I know, I already have an intake, but I had a question. Ok I have a 98 3.0 auto with a Weapon R intake. Some people have told me that it would be best if I got a cold air. Now I know that cold air gives you more hp but I also know that a short ram gives you hp all the way through your rpm range.
So whats better for racing. To me I look at it as having that hp at low rpm range is better than a few more hp at the top. See I thought with the auto that you have weak low end power. So wouldn't it benefit me to boost that low end power? Help guys
Oh yeah I am also planning on spraying soon so keep that in mind too.

From what I've heard, the V2 is the best of both worlds. For other intakes, the filter is the deciding component. The cold air intake does provide more power, but the short ram is at less risk for hydrolocking the engine, plus it is louder
