Intake/Nitrous question
Intake/Nitrous question
I've browsed a few car message boards and I've noticed that it seemed that quite a few people that had nitrous also had a short ram intake as opposed to a cai. Is there any advantage to having a short ram intake as opposed to a CAI when you have nitrous?
not that i can think of... the short ram just has a different sound and less power... maybe they liek the sound
ive seen many nitrus set ups on true cai's hmm i wonder if anyones had the ballz to drill into their new v2 yet

no diffrence.. most of the time your fogger is tapped into the intake right around where it connects to the throttle body... so i really doesnt matter if you have a short or CAI..... the fogger will be in the same spot......

I agree! I've had my nozzle connected to both (however, about 12" from the throttle body). I could tell no difference.

Duece: You HAVE too spray it into the intake (unless you're runnin' direct port). It's the only way to get nitrous into the engine.
