when i get into the upper part of the rpm's i hear a slight impurity/buzzing, i guess i can call it from the intake. im guessing this is due to the fact that i never bothered to put something between the pipe and body of the car, since they touch each other, and that it probably vibrates quite a bit at high rpm's. so today i taped a small ball of duct tape to the body to serve as a buffer. it's solid and holds well even though it gets a lil soft when it's hot, but it didnt remove the bad sound at all. any ideas on what else i could put there? it's not really a big deal since it's not too noticeable, but id like to fix it if possible. thanx

yeh on mine i went to autozone and got some rubber striping stuff that you can use to replace the rubber striping on your doors whatever they are called. cut out 2 pieces 2 inch pieces and it had a self adhesive back to i moved my cai and put it where it hits the metal.. sounds good now. no more ratteling at low rpm.

 

I just through on a piece of a double sided tape and it worked fine

 

haha and i thought i was the only one experiencing this...damn rattling noise gets annoyin as hell when you're at a stop light. temporarily goes away for me if u press the gas a lil bit.

 

it kinda sounds like the people who have air bags like when there thing is charging...
