infinity perfect 6.1 DOES NOT FIT!

i have 1998 2.3 CL
DONT GET INFINITY 6.1
THEY DO NOT FREAKEN FIT!
i have 2 homies working on my car and they know wut they are doing
we cut off the baffle so it will fit in there thatz ok..but the think is this metal bar inside the side panel is touching the magnet and we have about 1/2 space floating around when we screw it...side panel still fits and everything but my homie said it will rattle and it might mess up the window regulator and it will also rattle....
battery ran out and i have to get the code tomorrow....and i have to get the amp fo the front and rear speaker cuz i still didnt buy one...we gonna get that tomorrow and i might change 6.1 to 5.1 tomorrow i wish those still fits in there...and looks like 693.5i might not fit in the back also -.-;; FOCK!
i dont know we will figure something out tomorrow and i will post more tomorrow and see wut happens....

Who said they would fit? 5.25"s are our stock size, any larger requires customization.

try using a spacer to bring it off the door a little, it still fits behind the factory grill just fine, nothing fancy simple washers would work.

aren't the stock size for our fronts 6.5? are the speaker sizes for the 2.3's and 3.0's different? AARON1017, are those 6.1 infinity perfects in your car?

The stock speakers are 6.5" but they arent nearly as deep as most aftermarket speakers are. Some ppl just get 5.25's to be safe BUT, aftermarket 6.5" can be fit but you will most likely have to make a spacer, as i had to do to fit my HUGE ASS type r's. god was that a pain in the ass

Stock size is 6.5", but I automatically went with 5.25" to avoid any problems.
