I found them on groupbuycenter.com They dont list our car but the description reads:
"1. Your vehicles gauges must have needles made of a Lexan based material. (Application chart below) We do not provide new needles with the kit so the factory needles must be compatible. If your needles are clear with a white painted back, or another light colored back then the kit will work with you car. If your needles are made of solid colored plastic then the kit will not work.

2. Your vehicle must run on a 12 volt system with a negative chassis. (Pretty much all vehicles)

Just because your car is not on the list, does not mean it will not work. It just means your car has not been tested. If your vehicle meats the above requirements the kit will work just fine."

The '97 needles are clear with a white painted back, right? They are $72 shipped. Kinda pricey considering they arent new needles but cool none the less. Here is the

Sorry the pic didnt work before

They would be nice to have for our cars but unfortunately we CAN NOT. The needles have to be lexon based as stated by 1st gen cL. You literally have to take apart the cluster, remove the needles and sand away the lexon behind the needle then in install the led and run the wiring to the dimmer switch that is provided with the kit. Since our needles aren't lexon based we have nothing to sand down. I've tried pulling (very carefully) on my gauges to get the free and it was a pain. I broke my fuel needle and had to have it replaced. After all that it wasn't worth it to me.

Those are bad ass!! I want to put needles in my car from the new CL's/TL's... same principle, but much simpler. I wonder how I'll do removing my needles though...
