i am thinkin about getting an 89 240 sx coupe from a friend and i wanted to know what you guys think. if i get it, i am gonna throw an sr20det motor in and do the s15 headlight conversion along with other goodies. the car has so much potential and plus it's real wheel drive . it just seems a lot more feasible than dumping another 8-10 grand into the cl to do a tranny swap and custom turbo especially when i don't know how reliable it will be.

A guy with a newer CL did the same thing in the car talk forum, talk to him. He dumped like 3 grand into that car and is running 12s in the quarter I think. Sounds like it would be real tight to do. You should talk to that guy or do a search on it.

I just read about a rear mount del sol conversion with some B or H series DOHC. I think that would be pretty sweet those things are so friggin light. I think if you could get a 3.2 in the trunk of a del sol that would be one awesome ride.

And that swap was done by one of japan's premier honda tuners. It's not a swap to be done by a normal person
