I'm a lucky S.O.B

Today on my way to work the road opened up so I decided to hit it. I passed a trooper doing 130 but he was coming off an exit so I don't think he noticed me since there were cars in the middle and slow lane. Then a block away from my job a cab cuts me off and I had to accelerate to go around him and passed a local cop doing 60 in a 45 and didn't get pulled over either. I think I'll play the lottery today because it's my lucky day.

130 in morning traffic in Jersey. Hopefully if you kill yourself, you don't take innocent people with you.

I know it aint like I was weaving in and out of traffic, it opened up and there was no one ahead me for a good mile before all this happened. I'm still wondering where all the traffic was it's usually packed at that time.

You think THATS lucky...listen to this story, happened yesterday....

So I'm on my way back home from school, sittin at a red light. Im the 3rd car back from the front. So the light turns green, this Camaro starts pullin out into the intersection, and outta nowhere this Dodge Ram comes FLYING in from the right, and just CRUSHESSS the Camaro's front right side. This Ram must have ran this red light soooo late. There were no brakes, no screeching at all, and he musta been doing at least 50-55. He spun the Camaro around 180 degrees, so the front end is now facing us, and the front end is just GONE pretty much, smashed into the cabin. After the Ram smashed into the Camaro, it swerved off, and started flipping, then rolled until it came to a stop on its side.

I'm just sittin in my car like

This Lexus in front of me immediately pulled over, I suppose to be the witness to the accident, and then another car pulled over, so i figured I didnt need to stop as well. So I just continued on my way right after the accident happened, and I'm just drivin in like a state of shock for the first minute or so, thinkin "OMG I was only TWO cars behind that. What if the truck was 5 seconds later, or what if I had been the first car to pull out!!" For the rest of the ride home, I find myself being extra cautious, keeping my distance from anyone around me, heh.

I've never seen a crash quite like that. I'm sure there had to be some injuries, I hope the guy in the Camaro turned out alright. And I hope that the guy driving the Ram had some other excuse than just running a red light. Maybe he wasnt paying attention, looking down at something, because if he was on full alert and just tried running that light, I dont have too much pity for him. He could have hit the Camaro farther back around the door and easily killed the guy.

So thats my story....I was actually thanking God on the way home that I was that third car back...

yea, commin home from school today. I was @ the front of the intersection in the left lane (red light) and there was a car in the right lane. I had to turn right about a mile up the hill so when the light turned green i took off so i'd be able to get infront of the other car inorder to take my right turn. I floor it, get infront of the car, (the road starts to go downhill) so im coasting downhill @ like 65 in a 45 and @ the bottom of the hill is a cop sittin there pokin out shootin radar out his window ( i can see him and the radar gun) So im like SHIT!!....and as soon as I saw the cop, i took a right turn into this neighborhood soooooo hard i thought my car was gonna flip (i cant wait to lower the damn thing) so I take off in this neighborhood zig zag through streets and end up @ my house safe and sound. The turn i WAS going to turn on was after the cop, and there was noo way he was able to come get me cuz there was a pack of cars behind me before i pulled the hard right into the neighborhood.

lol...kinda lucky, kinda evading the :cop: .....i've had closer situations but it was still kinda fun to evade and run...although i knew i had gotten away)

I guess I'm luck I didn't get washed away. I'm real glad I didn't have the long pipe on the CAI. I would have Hydrolocked for sure. The thing that gets me is that all the water damage to my lights was on the passenger side. It is almost like the seals were only bad on that side. The Driver side was tight and right... Hmmm... I don't understand how that happens.
