From reading around. I have read that the 3.0 does have the most, lets say reliable tranny. If cost wasnt an issue. What would be the best 5 o 6 speed transmission that would most easily bolt up to the j30a1

Dont tell me to get a 3.2... I like the 3.0 body

 

the CL-S 6speed tranny is the only one that has been fit with several electrical and mechanical fabrications.. good luck finding one too.

1. Swap a CL-S engine
2. CL-S 6 speed tranny
3. All Bolt-on's possible
4. Custom Turbo
5. Nitrous
6. Exterior cosmetics
7. Interior cosmetics

if cost wasn't an issue i'd have a paxton supercharger under the hood and at least 5 speeds on the floor

 

 

i would rather get a dr.evil tranny, and torque converter. itll have alittle more power distribution than the 6 speed would and no modifications, then you could get a 150 shot and have fun all day long. but remember to keep up with the maintenance on the engine.

i plan on gettin a supercharger soon, unless my tranny dies again, in which case i will go level 10 and torque converter, (bout $1000) for the parts), and ill be rebuilding it myself again. then ill get a 100 shot and type s cams.
