If anyone can answer this, please do so.

I have a 97 2.2 CL with the f22B1 engine. My tranny just went out at 181,000 miles, and I am looking for a used one. ......Here is my question: I know some of the accords have the same F22, but are the transmissions the same too? If so, what year accords?.... I would be greatful for anybody that could answer this. Thanks John.

the CL tranny is different from the Accord Tranny. i would say get a remanufactured tranny not a used or rebuilt tranny. just my
the difference is the reman. tranny all the parts would be new and the rebuilt only changes the parts thats looks bad or are bad.

i am on my third working tranny (tried 5) and here is what i have found out. a 90-93 accord transmission will bolt up to the block but the transmission mount will not fit. it is off set by 2 inches. i know for a fact that a 94-97 accord transmission will fit for sure. had a 94 accord dx,i had a 95 accord ex and now i am running a 96 accord ex tranny. i am working on trying out the f23 trannys i do believe they will because i bought my wife a 98 accord and every thing looks identical. i will let you know about that. Now for the better of the trannys i would get a ex model cause the gears are better but top end on the dx.

You must be talking about the 3.0.
