Icebox for First Gens
Icebox for First Gens
Hey everyone,
I trying to get an idea of anyone with a First Gen CL that is dissapointed in Comptech for not making an Icebox available for our cars. For anyone who dosen't already know, the version that is available for the 98-01 accord would not be compatible due to different mounting points. Even though it may be possible to make it fit with some custom work, I don't really see anyone willing to spend that much loot to find out that it can't be done.
I've been in contact with comptech, trying to convince them that there is a demand for it. But I just wanted to get an idea if it's just me or if there are any other owners out there who would be interested in an Icebox for our cars.

I have it as well as the accord supercharger in my 1st gen.
I wouldn't worry too much about mount points for the icebox. Since there is an intake tube which extends down into the fender well area, it kinda prevents the icebox from moving around too much.
