I was thisclose to wrecking my car...and me....
After I picked up Casper's air ride today, I went to the shop where I'm supposed to get it put on. After we're done there, checking everything out, i go to drive back home. Theres really heavy traffic, and i'm looking to make a left, go into the median, and go the other way. I'm looking for a break in traffic, and finally i see 2 big trucks are gonna make a right in front of me, so all is clear. Or so i think. I go to drive out, and right when this truck is turning, i see the fender of an Expedition hauling ass right at me! So i slam on the brakes, and i tell u, it couldnt have been any closer. It was like a flash. When it was happening, all i could think of was "holy shit im' fucked". Thats the only thing that went through my mind. But he missed me, and i mean barely. I was, no shit, shaking like a motherfucker. So i got really lucky today, thank God.

damn...glad to hear you & your CL are okay.
i have almost been in 2 accidents (other peoples fault) since i went off the road and banged up my CL....it's like people know when you get your car back from the body shop...grrrr...STAY AWAY!!

I can feel ya.. :\ Same thing almsot happended to me, but I ended up going for it and my steering wheel locked on me and ran my rim right into the curb before I got control of it back, regardless the truck behind me was inches from me :\

Damn...you know it was close when you are shaking like a mother...i once took an s curve to going to fast and my back end came loose on the first part of the s curve and i basically went off the road, missed a pole on the driver side by less than a foot and then missed another pole on the passenger side by a couple of feet. i ended up making it back on the road after my car was full of dirt and dust..(unscaved except for my pride)..i was so scared i didn't say a word for like 5 minutes and looked at my girl and was like holy shit...we never really spoke of it again. (later i learned that the cl's are somewhat front heavy, i learned the hard way)

dang.... 1st this and the old lady thingy... sorry to hear that... and be careful on the road...
yesterday... some stupid lady pulled infront of this big truck out of nowhere and the truck swerved and almost hit me .. it was very very closed too... 1st time ABS came on for me... it was quite a trip to work
