I test drove the 6 speed

I test drove a red 6 speed. The ride was tight and smooth, fairly quiet. The shifter is pretty slick, possibly the best i have ever used. But the clutch was a hand full. There seemed to be no return force when the clutch was pushed to the floor, then all of the sudden it felt like a spring engaged and wanted to pull the pedal back up. So at low rpms i had trouble shifting smoothly.

My 2.2 has ZERO change in power when the high cam come in compared to the CL-S. But the power band seemed too short to be useful. It needed to kick in about 750 rpms lower. The sound was intoxicating. I also test drove a new accord v-6 sedan, a TL-S. The nissan dealer was closing out 03 maximas- 4000 dollars off the sticker, they already had 3 2004's sitting on the lot. One of them had the center console in the back. I climbed in the murano and FX45. I was very impressed by both of them. The seats in the FX are the most comfortable i have ever sat in. I also climbed in a Mazdaspeed protege, and a mazda 6--both of these made me understand why i wouldnt want to own one.

Sounds to me like you had a fun filled day. I'd love to do that for a living.

My friend and I went to test drive the 03 CL-S 6 speed last month, and he had the same problem with the clutch engagement.
