I need your brain for cat converter.
My cat converter was broken. Mieneke man said that.
He asked 350 bucks for acura some kinda genuine things. I can't believe,
Universal converter he didn't recommend ,, said I couldn't pass the emission test.
By the way, I am thinking about buying converter ..affordable one to me..
http://www.autopartsauthority.com/ca...998~parts.html
I found those things.
I already found some thread ..high flow thing and...straight..thing..
I dont' know much about that.
From the site, whick one is good for my car, 98, 2.3CL, 130K,
If i buy one, Could I change it by myself?
I am wondering it is welded or not?
I am just ..thinking ...jack her up...and unscrew some bolts...and
get a new cat linked to the pipe..some kinda of that..Is it possible?
Thanks in advance!!!!

no it's not welded, but the bolts on teh cat are hard as hell to get off if you can't get good leverage. The guy was probably BSing about not being able to pass with a universal convertor, but don't quote me on that.
