Alright well I wanna put some new parking lights in, and the stores had nothing but the normal ones. I just bought a brand new pair of Silverstart Ultras for my Low Beams. ANd I dont want any nasty looking parking lights to ruin how nice hte Silverstars look. SO my question. THey had these rubber caps at the store to put over ur bubls to make them blue, green or red. And I just though that would make it loook corny unless it was like a light blue and it would sorta match my silverstars. My other idea was to color with a sharpie the bulbs a dep yellow almost so they have a fog light sorta look. What can I do to get rid of this nasty color the normal bulbs have.

p.s. I have never changed my parking lights before but Im going to look in my manual to see if I cant just go from that.

go amber. Or get hyperwhite LEDs

 

All they had was these Sylvanias that came in the green box. They didnt have any colored ones or LEDs. Unless the LEDs arent 168's

Is using a yellow sharpie a stupid idea

 

go to pepboys they sell hyper white led's they are 168/194 either one will work but dont even think bout using a sharpie thats

I have silverstar corner lamps. They are clearish blue when off and a nice sharp/elegant amber when lit. match the HIDs and silverstar highbeams I have well.

 

when u go in pep boys it should be in the section with aftermarket lights by the stereos look for hyperwhite leds 168/194 either one will work

 

i agree with getting the new parking bulbs. i have silverstars and my parking bulbs look like crap. i think im gonna go to pepboys today

 

either go to pepboys or get some leds off the net

 

just order some white LED's today so that they'll come ASAP. You'll just have to rock the ugly mismatch for a few days

 

I just got some Pilot LEDs at Pepboys, yes i know im fast haha. Now for the installation lmao.
