i need a new cat

what yr accord or prelude will fit my car.. cuz i juss banged up my cat and its rattling real nasty.. help !

i was gunna say what kinda car ya got. ooh and use the search button!

you are going to use the 94-97 accords for 97 2.2 and 3.0

and the 98-02 for the 2.3 and 3.0

next time give more details so more people will help out.

Are they better? or just louder? i got my non oem replacement cat for like $70 bux. but its so ghetto im sure itll die in a year.

Palay, where did you get the non oem replacement? Did you get a new 02 sensor too?

I have no idea about the magnaflow cats, but I know many people use magnaflow muffler here.... but it listed in performance parts tough...

I got mine from my armenian mechanic, he smells but hes off the hook. He didnt replace the 02sensor. most muffler shops have the generic ones. u kinda have to haggle with them, theyll budge eventually.

the muffler guy said he didnt want to get in trouble because our cars use the OBII sensor. so I had to get a OEM cat for $250 which was a hook up from the dealer i know.

hey its it Daniel or Danny? did you get the intake installed yet? lol

If you mean the straight pipe, don't get it, you won't pass emissions, even in Ohio, plus there's no real point to it.

My buddy (the asian guy with the big head), hes manufacturing WRX intakes, so im stealing his filter, and coupler thingies. So prolly tonight itll be in. Hes still making fun of ur nasty filter. Replace it man, right now ur worse than stock!

I don't know how it would really sound cause it leaked through the gaskets.
