I might have found a 'new' car
well, new to me anyways. I might be totally switching up my style. I was driving past a car lot yesterday, and found a car i definently wouldnt mind picking up. a 1962 Cadillac Convertible. 55k original miles. apparently, the owner was the classic little old lady making grocery store trips. color is a turquoise kinda green, with white leather interior. the first thing i'd do is take it to my bodyshop and paint it either red or black, then maybe a new interior. it wouldnt be that much, i have hook ups for everything. but the car is in really good shape, and they only want 10k. so i'm thinking of selling the CL, getting the caddy, and then i want to upgrade my bike also. get rid of the CBR and maybe pick up the new Kawasaki ZX12R. But anyways, what do you guys think? a pimp caddy? maybe some wires, 22's? black on black, with some HID's? i think it'd be sick!
heres a link to what the car looks like (not the same car, but so u can get an idea)

My buddy just bought a bagged 68, it's a sweet car.
Get it bro, it's a no brainer. Our 58 eldo biarittz was the same kind of story. Was put in a garage in 64, had 32K original miles
Even the buffalo hide interior is MINIT
FYI though, you don't want this thing as your daily driver. Shit goes wrong ALL the time w/ old cars, esp. old original cars.

yep, still have it, we basically bought it for nothing considering what it is so we'll hold onto it for some time. Haven't driven it in awhile though. There are only like 30 left on the road though
here are some more pics

The Biarrittz model was pretty rare, there are virtually none left (only around 800 built). 30 was a good estimate IMO.
I use to drive it all the time, now that I'm about an hour away from them I don't get to much anymore. But I'll grab it for a weekend and bring it down sometimes. Thing turns heads left and right, esp. out here by the beach.

biarritz is the premium package, had real gold trim and shit like that. We got offered a little over 40K at one point. We paid 22.5 for it.
my dads got a 48 merc. It's a total sleeper. It's got a fully built 383 and rides on a sick suspension built by a guy named Fat Man Jack. He's the man when it comes to fat fendered fords.
the thing smokes my CL
