the check engine light could be simply your cars computer sensing a "leak" in the system...sometimes just a loose gas cap, or it could be sending another fault code from, say, a leaking hose, engine missing, etc. Most dealerships will charge a diagnostic fee, which is mostly just hooking up a computer to your car, that sends an exact problem to the tech. Most will have a "TSB" (technical service bulletin) that can give other insight on what the cars computer is reading. Diagnostics are usually anywhere from 50-100 buckarooski's, nothing to sweat about, unless they find something serious and you have to pay to fix it

Sorry, I don't remember a maintnence chart being posted. We thought you were asking how to get rid of the maintnence light and all you have to do for that is put the key in that little socket.

As far as maintnence I think at 45 it's just filter and oil change. Check your fluids etc. When was the last time you check brake fluid etc?

yeah at 45k there is very little that needs to be done. Check your owner's manual...I paid under $200 to do just the minor things that needed to be taken care of at 45k...waiting for ol' 60k to rear its ugly head

90k is rearing its ugly head here. I need to get my timing belt and water pump repalced before the snow falls, and that won't be to far away.
