Guess what someone said about my 98 CL (and all CLs for that matter).

A female cashier (17 yrs old) overheard me and a fellow manager (both of us are 19 yrs old) talking about suspension (he has an older 90’s model prelude that is nicely set up). She walks up to us and informs us that her dad bought her a new car. I said to her: “that’s cool, gotta love the new car smell right, what kind is it?” She told us that it was a Kia Spectra. My friend laughs and I kinda smirk (but only a little). She got upset with my friend and called his car an old piece of crap, and then turned to me and said that my car was old, UGLY, and slow.

I thought she was kidding so I just laughed it off. She then proceeded to tell me that her car was faster and better than mine. I asked her to tell me why she would think that, and she said the following: “My car is brand new and has the biggest engine in it’s class, so I know that it’s faster than your car, plus my car looks way better than your old and ugly crap car.”

Me and my friend didn't say a word to her, we were speechless....

we did make her bring in all the shopping carts off the lot by herself after we closed the store though... haha.
