you could basically put it anywhere.. where are the easiest places to reach, which of them are essentially out of the way, and how could you mount it there

i'd sit in my car, think about those steps in that order, and then have my answer

i believe its console. haha. And yea i was wondering wtf a cb radio was. Maybe in the back seat where the ash tray is? The walkie talkie thing is on a cord, and unless its hard find a channel then it shouldnt be bad back there.

sorry made me feel old or something... cb stands for citizen band radio it's what old timers used before cell phones

I would put it where the ashtray goes. So you can reach all the knobs. And yup I think you're the first to ask

lol i think they do plan it......the one time i was flying past a truck and there were 2 more ahead and they were both in the right lane. then all of a sudden the one truck speeds up into the left lane then they both go same speed........10mph under the speed limit! it killed me for the 2 mins they pulled that trick, it felt like eternity.

If you just want short range, like <5 miles, you don't need the huge ass antenna. Even a handheld would work at that range.

CB radios are a good speeding countermeasure, you find the right channels and the truckers will light up ol' Smokie everywhere they go

Police scanners wirk as well, although with the frequency hopping and trunking bands these days its harder to do unles you have their specific operating bands. . . you can use a simple handheld unit and install a reciever antenna on the car somewhere and plug it in when youre using it. . . or theres mobile types that you can mount in a DIN slot like under the radio or on the dashboard, you have to run your own antenna for that though, no way around that. . . but as a speeding countermeasure scanners dont work quite so well, youll hear um radio you in, but thats about it, but thing with the scanners is theyre great fun, ive learned with mine that there are only 3 to 4 cars patrolling my ENTIRE city after I believe midnight

the way things are going now a RD will be a good friend. . . and a decent Laser Jammer, not those crappy LED jamming units like Blinder and Escort, im talking big time Diode based jammers. . . which you can only find if you know where to look
